Kin Chan, Tribute to Ansel Adams, Japan 2012
Today I went to the Ansel Adams exhibition at the National Maritime Museum in London and it reminded how I started out as a Landscape photographer and although I have been learning more about Street photography in recent months, Landscape photography will always be closer to me and in time I will go back and put my energy into it again!
An Unearthed Relic
A few decades ago I wandered the middle of my country working as a photojournalist. That was long before Photoshop was even imagined, so everything rested on the ability of the photographer. How shocking! One day I was driving back to the newsroom when I saw this shot. While it’s great to be wise and prepared, it’s always better to be lucky. That was a lucky day for me.
Trip
Schietwetter? Schietegal! Hauptsache Schiffe gucken • Bad weather? Doesn’t matter! The main thing is watching the ships
Beim Hafengeburtstag in Hamburg, dem größten Hafenfest der Welt, gibt es während der Einlaufparade der Schiffe keinen freien Fleck am Elbufer • At the Hamburg Port Anniversary, the world’s greatest port festival, you will hardly find a free spot on the banks of the Elbe during the Grand Arrival Parade of the ships
Botanic Garden of Coimbra - A very nice place to relax in the city of the students.
