My name is Alberto Vargas, Born and raised in Queens, New York , I’ve been influenced by photography since the age of 13, started my expedition into photography shooting my friends skateboarding. Since then I’ve become obsessed with making images. I shoot Portraits, Architecture, Environment, photos of my travels. I have these made up images in my head that are a product of my experiences as a human being and new yorker, my goal is photograph all these scenes and have a visual representation of what my mind makes up when it dreams. I’m inspired by city life, love, change, and light. Half of my work is shot on film, either with my Canon F1, Canonet qL17, or my Hasselblad 501cm. The other half on random digital cameras.
