I’m a 22 yo photographer from Italy. After my degree in photography i just escaped from everything, moving to Bosnia where i’m working on personal social photography projects. The pictures on my tumblr are my personal shoots, parts of sides projects, attempts to confront with this statement: “For those who know the value of and exquisite taste of solitary freedom (for one is only free when alone), the act of leaving is the bravest and most beautiful of all.” by the swiss explorer Isabelle Eberhardt, one of my heros.
I shoot film photography so my blog is updated when i develop the film roll. I love the sensation of waiting for seeing what you did in another moment, and the long time between the shooting and the results.
I am a french photographer. I work exclusively in black and white. My favorite themes are the architectural photography and the street photography. I like to work the lines, symmetry, curves, shadows. I don’t work my photos in postproduction or possibly for cropping. I try to progress to every shoot and I fix to me new objectifs everytime.
Currently, I try to progress on nude photography. For me there is many similarities between architectural photography and nude photography : this is a job on lines, curves, contrasts. In my work of street photography, I want to show the beauty in our everyday life. In my nude photographies, I try most often to work with models who are not professional because I want to show that the beauty is in every human body and not in the perfection.
An Englishman in New York! Had a camera in my hand for 50 years since borrowing an old bellows type 120 roll film camera and going off to Italy with it on a school trip. My images at Pompei had me hooked for life. Had a darkroom in the 80s and made beautiful color cibachromes but hated the chemicals and waiting for the clock. Was never happy until Computers joined the game. First digitized slides back in 1987 on an Amiga Computer. Now it’s Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq. Love the marriage of creativity with technology and the ability to create something that is “more” than reality. My Tumblr pages are dedicated to my images of New York City, my chosen home for many many years.
We are Marion and Stergios. We are from Greece, but we currently live in London (UK) and Brussels (Belgium) respectively. Our blog “Postcards from Marion and Ste” is an attempt to gather in one place the photos we take during our trips in various European countries.
Marion usually takes our photos. She uses a CANON EOS 550D and Photoshop for the digital processing. She also uses InDesign to create the postcards and the other image files that we post on our blog. Our blog is focused on travel photography and through that we would like to share our travel experiences and to introduce Marion’s photography to a wider public.

Hi everybody, my name is James and my passion is travel photography!
I’ve travelled the world, visiting over 50 countries, and in the last 2 years have taken an interest in photography, capturing images from Iceland to Australia, Morocco to India and Tibet to S.E. Asia. All the photos on my tumblr are my own, taken with my first camera, a point and shoot digital, recently upgrading to a Canon DSLR.
I aim to capture a sense of the beauty of travel from a backpacker’s perspective, taking you places the tour groups don’t go. I look for striking compositions and vivid colour contrasts in my landscape and still life work, while trying to capture personal and atmospheric portraits. I travel often and will have more photos soon!

Duccio born in 1986, is an architecture student, who in his spare time he likes nature, travel and adventure.
He started taking photographs with the film cameras already child, but only after buying a Nikon D90 he began to love the artistic side of photography and to deepen even more’ argument.
After an examination of photography at the School of architecture, deepens even more side-technical composition of shots, learn to develop in the darkroom, and only then will begin to apply digital postproduction in photoshop, using same techniques required by analog methods.

I take photos of things that make me stop and stare, with either my Nikon D80, Fujifilm X10 or trusty iPhone 4.
I’ve been encouraged to do more and I’m loving every minute of it.

Reinvigorated and re-inspired by getting back into photography using a Canon 5DMkII, L Series 24-105mm F4, 70-200mm 2.8 II and a 50mm 1.4.
I’m a 25 year old Norwegian, I study history and I like to travel and to take pictures. My main photographic inspiration so far has been trying to capture the differences between the places I’ve visited, which have been mainly between the South of France and Norway. Last summer I cycled back home from my Erasmus exchange in Montpellier and took quite a few pictures along the way. Recently I’m more stationary, so I’m focusing more on particular lights and colours in my environment.
Eight years ago I fell in love with the light and since than I’m experimenting with all sorts of techniques in photography.
I use Olympus e-300 with analog lenses, Nikon d90 and my best camera - my mobile phone. I like to walk rather than eat and most of my subjects are nature and strangers I come across. I have unique style of HDR photography where I like to show nature and landscapes the way I image it. They are surreal and fantasy alike.

I am a 19 year old photographer in education. I dream of being a band photographer someday. I love music and going to concerts. So why not connecting music with photography? Of course it’s not the only thing I like to photograph. I also do lots of “normal” portraits at the moment and I love street photography (well I like almost every kind of photography..). The most important thing in my style of photography is to show honesty. I want to show the world like I sense it, because I always fail when I try to explain it in words.
I’m a young American girl with no car, a few passport stamps, and a recently acquired DSLR who still prefers to shoot film of the 35mm variety. I use color film most of the time and photography is a way for me to document my travels and places/things that are important to me.

The premise of this page is handheld snapshots of the ordinary…a modest aspiration at best…but one that continually challenges, evolves, and stimulates me to discover dignity in the everyday. For me it’s about placing a frame around atmospheric light and gesture…usually in 16:9 format at wide aperture. The printed image is very important to me…be it a framed print, a project print folio, or one off book …images on a hard drive or posted to a web page is simply not challenge enough.
I use identical consumer point & shoot cameras mounted with prime lenses…a 24mm in one pocket and a 90mm in the other. This small light weight kit gives me a redundancy and an easy familiarity…with the speed of switching cameras rather than lenses.
Juxtapositions, alignments, how photography interprets artificial light, how black and white sometimes describes a feeling better than color, the subtlety of white in color, the fact that there are no true neutral greys in the world that aren’t man-made, how space can be compressed with a telephoto… Photography is endlessly fascinating because it shows us all of these things and more.
